Readers Workshop: We worked on voice to print matching. We pointed to each word as we read it aloud.
The students learned the reading strategy: Get Ready Gecko.
Get Ready Gecko says: Get your mouth ready to make the first sound!
Math: We sorted objects by different attributes! We played the game: Guess My Shape! The students needed to figure out the hidden shape by guessing the type of shape, the color, and its size; such as: a big, blue, circle.

Special Activities: We had our first Four Winds Science Class on Wednesday afternoon. We learned all about leaves! We also had a great time at Open House!
