Readers Workshop: We continued to talk about “Just Right” books. We read Henry and Mudge books. The kindergartners enjoyed reading this fun series of books!
Math: We worked on two dimensional shapes and three dimensional shapes. We also worked on Double 10 frames, number writing, and teen numbers.

Writers Workshop: We worked on writing skills! The students are learning to: record sounds, use finger spaces between words, and use lowercase letters and stopping marks.

Science and Global Citizenship: We completed our study of force and motion! We learned the Habit of Mind: Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision.
Dates to Remember:
Monday, November 25th - Kindergarten Craft Day! All of the kindergarten students will be put into new groups for the day. This is a great way for the children to develop friendships with students in other classes. Each group will rotate through all three of the kindergarten classrooms and get to create fun craft projects!
November 27th-29th - No School
Monday, December 2nd - Book Orders Due
Thursday, December 5th @ 6pm - Winter Concert
Friday, December 6th @ 11:30am - Early Release

North, East, South, West
One student is The Guesser and sits in the Hot Seat.
The Guesser closes his/her eyes and counts to 10.
The rest of the class moves to one of the 4 cardinal directions - North, East, South, or West.
The Guesser picks: North, East, South, or West.
Everyone who is in that section is "out" & needs to sits down.
The Guesser gets to guess 3 times.
Then the game is over and everyone says: Good Game!
