Readers Workshop: We learned about characters, setting, problem and solution. We also learned about character traits.
Math: We are focusing on money and celebrating the number 100. The students are learning different songs and poems about the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. These songs will help the students remember the names of the coins and the value of each coin. We are also playing games that focus on the numbers 1-100 by using 100 charts.

Fundations -
This Week: Upper Case Letters
  Review: All of the Lower Case Letters
Next Week: Upper Case Letters
Writers Workshop: We are doing an author study of Eric Carle. We created an anchor chart to record what we notice about Eric Carle's books.

Science and Global Citizenship: We reviewed the Habits of Mind that we have studied so far.
