Readers Workshop: We worked on story elements. We read different books and mapped out each books: characters, setting, problem, and solution. The children are working hard at this challenging task and doing a great job!
Math: We celebrated the number 100! We counted many different groups of 100 objects. We also studied a 100 chart and worked together to notice trends and patterns in the 100 chart. We celebrated the 100th day of kindergarten with many special events; such as: finding 100 Hershey Kisses hidden in our classroom, making 100 day headbands, and making necklaces decorated with 100 Fruit Loops!
